Our amazing beachfront location is just minutes away from the quaint town of Yachats. The highlights of this classic motel includes the sandy beach just steps from your oceanfront room. The Silver Surf was built over 50 years ago in 1972, and has become a destination for generations of guests. We are a privately owned boutique motel full of charm. We are not corporate owned and our guests love that about us.
Yachats has been called the Gem of the Oregon Coast. Sandy beach, rocky shores, tide pools, state parks with miles of hiking and a half hour drive from any larger coastal towns north or south on the Oregon Coast highway 101.

The majority of our rooms feature private balconies with ocean views.
Kitchenettes that include a coffee maker, microwave, stove, oven and a full size fridge. Basic dishware and cookware is provided in the rooms.
Electric fireplaces, along with cable tv and DVD players. We also offer a complimentary DVD selection at the front office to get cozy on cold coastal nights. Don’t forget the popcorn!

This past winter we have been working very hard to update our pet friendly rooms! We are proud of our hard work and can’t wait for our guests to enjoy it. But we aren’t finished yet! We have several more projects planned to continue to improve our property. We will be working on our pool room, our lobby, breakfast bistro and building a hand rail for guests to use at the beach access.
